This high-ranking international gathering of senior corporate managers, human-resources and corporate social responsibility managers, diversity and inclusion experts and practitioners, government and nongovernment organisation officials, and academics will focus on the complex challenges and opportunities related to global diversity management.
This year’s exciting two-day congress will provide attendees with a unique, intensive, and interactive experience, exposing them to a refreshing combination of cutting-edge tools and opportunities as well as groundbreaking, trendsetting innovative research findings in the field of diversity and inclusion both from Pan-European and global perspectives.
“The European Diversity & Inclusion Congress, EDIC, is Europe’s leading Diversity, Inclusion, and Business Congress that offers D&I professionals the latest insights on the European approach to managing diversity, inclusion, and business performances in the midst of the ongoing financial crises,” says Beatrice Achaleke, CEO of Diversity Leadership, EDIC Founder and Conference Manager, and the ISDIP’s first International Insights webinar host.
“D&I professionals will benefit from EDIC’s unique setting as a learning place for both veterans and beginners, a resource forum for CEOs, managers, practitioners, academia, research institutions, and a high-ranking networking platform for its attendees. EDIC’s partnership with the ISDP is crucial in fostering D&I debates on a global level.”
Day One focuses on the pan-European approach to managing inclusive diversity, current challenges and opportunities, comparative advantages of flexible working arrangements both for companies and employees, taping into the pipeline of women and minorities, setting and managing diversity targets in an ever-changing workforce, the dynamics of social networks in driving diversity and inclusion – ‘D&I’ – in global and pan-European companies and organisations. There will be an afternoon session about European Diversity Charters: going beyond mere intentions and how they are impacting performance and profit in today’s business and organisations.
Day Two is committed to inclusion management, innovative research findings, career development and human networks, employee engagement and satisfaction, marketing D&I for business results, placing a special focus on how European companies and D&I experts can overcome challenges and create new opportunities in emerging workforces.
The congress will be held both in English and German and simultaneous interpretation will be provided in both languages as needed.
