Her kan du læse pressemeddelesen om, at Alliance of Civilizations søger kandidater.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations is pleased to announce that it launches the UNAOC-BMW Group Award for intercultural Innovation, in partnership with the BMW Group. This annual Award will select highly innovative initiatives that are advancing cross-cultural understanding among different communities and cultures around the world.

For future recipients of the Award, alongside a monetary prize, winning will mean receiving direct support from the UNAOC and its powerful network in order to scale up and replicate them in various settings.

The goal of the Award is to encourage innovation in the field. The Award is unique in its category and offers very promising and inspiring results. In the upcoming three years ahead, we expect to receive more than 2,000 submissions; actively support sixty projects; and expand at least three top projects into several different regions.

A rigorous competitive selection process will be conducted by an international jury. Projects will be evaluated against a comprehensive set of criteria (see attachment) ensuring that the process is conducted in complete openness and transparency.

We would like to invite you to participate in this exciting and promising project. There are several ways to get involved:

• Disseminating the call for applications among your network of civil society organizations, public administration, private sector, etc. Increase your organization’s visibility and gain credibility of the applicants – www.unaoc.org/unaoc-bmwgroup-award

• Sponsoring one of the Awards: a specific Award in a category of given interest for your foundation (i.e. Gender; IT; migration, etc) could be created, and would be acknowledged and presented as being awarded by your organization. Demonstrate your support.

• Providing support to one of the winner projects: Your foundation could partner to help replicate a winning project. The project would be recognized as a supported initiative from your organization. Become an agent of change.
